Give Thanks and Give Back This Holiday Season

Our life is a hub of chaotic confusion, that we attempt to keep controlled. It seems we are constantly running in a million different direction with deadlines, tasks, and schedules busting at max capacity. The holiday season is always moving at an alarming rate, but it still proves to be the perfect opportunity to give thanks and give back. My family is extremely fortunate to have three healthy and wild kids, who keep us extra busy. We love being able to remind our kids that being able to give back is the best part of the holiday season.

Our Christmas elf always makes an appearance after our Christmas tree and holiday decorations are up. One tradition that has seemed to stay true with our Christmas Elf is giving back. His first night back, he asks our kids to go through their toys and choose some to send to other friends in need. Without any hesitation, our kids happily go through the toys and fill up boxes to donate.

Giving is better than receiving, as my oldest is learning this year. He saved his money in a effort to be able to purchase gifts for his little brother and sister. My husband and I were proud (and shocked) that even through the the temptations of purchasing more v bucks, he decided to set aside money for his siblings’ gifts AND wrapping paper. We couldn’t help but think maybe we ARE doing something right and maybe he’s been listening to all of our Ambassador stories about T-Mobile giving back.
